This also includes full tuition for the month of June.We offer a variety of extra practices and special rehearsals during this month and May to make up for any class time missed due to recital rehearsals. Costumes All students are encouraged to participate in our annual June performance. Costumes for this show will be measured and ordered before the end of this year 2011.In November, we require a $25 costume deposit per costume.This is a non-refundable deposit.Costume balances will be due the end of March 2011. Average cost for costumes, child size $60-$75 and Adult sizes $75-$90.You may always pay a little extra each month throughout the year so that it is not so much at the end if your child does a few classes. Recital Package/Tickets Some studios charge a recital fee of $50 to $75 per student just to participate in the yearly productions.WE DO NOT DO THIS!In the past, we have sold out of performances, and parents did not have a ticket to see their child dance, so we came up with a recital package to ensure that each family has tickets to enjoy their child on stage for both performances. Thusly, we do require that each family purchase a recital package. The package contains 2 tickets for the Friday performance, 2 tickets for the Saturday performance, and a recital booklet and every family has tickets for both shows! We understand it may not be the perfect solution, but it has worked quite well for the past several years. This price has been around $55 for the past two years.We will have all other seats available for friends and family members at a first come first serve basis.These tickets go on sale at the beginning of June. Anyone who takes a seat will need a ticket. The recital Fee is due in April. Class Pictures Recital class and individual pictures are taken at the beginning of June and everyone is encouraged to participate, but you are not required to purchase unless you want.I do like all students to come in for the class shots because we hang them in the studio for viewing. Prices are reasonable and can be viewed the day taken. Program Booklet Ads If you are interested in having your child’s picture in our Program booklet for recital, you are welcome to purchase an Advertisement personally, or have your child sponsored by an outside business. This is open for all, but again NOT REQUIRED. Recital Video Taping Parents are permitted to video tape the Dress Rehearsal only.It is your responsibility to inform family/friends that taping during the performance is unacceptable.We will have a professional video photographer taping the dance performance, and you will be able to purchase this video at recital.They will be sent to the dance studio 6-8 weeks later for pick up.

All of the training and hours of rehearsal and organization begin to come together. The students and teachers have put in numerous hours of preparation for this performance. Everyone should be commended for their efforts. But, of course, there is still plenty to do. We are all extremely busy, but the hard work will result in a very rewarding show! If you have any concerns or questions the best time to contact Leah is during the morning hours of 9am-11am. She is usually busy and unable to give her full attention to individuals during studio hours. You can call her at 602-525-0714. If you leave a message at the studio someone will get back to you with in 24 hours. All classes (both company and non-company) will be in both shows. Parent Meetings during tech rehearsals on Tuesday June 7th Recital Packages are $55.00. All Families are required to purchased by June 5th. Each package contains 2 Friday tickets, 2 Saturday tickets and 1 program. Additional tickets will be sold in June on a first come, first served basis. Keep your eye out for them. Hang them up as soon as possible so wrinkles can come out. You might want to hang them in the bathroom during a hot shower to steam them. Memorial Day weekend the studio will be closed Friday May 27nd-Monday May 30th. Enjoy the time off and be ready to come back ready to work hard preparing for recital. Picture Day is Sunday June 5 th. Again, space is limited. Please have only one parent bring only your dancer. Parents will not be allowed in the classrooms during photography. Stage make up is NOT required. Make up should be done to your liking for your photos. Come dressed in your first costume ½ hour prior to your picture time. We will be sticking to the schedule. If you will not be coming to picture day, let the office know. You can also sign up for individual photos at the office. When you arrive on picture day you will need to sign in at the front desk. On line ordering instructions will be given at that time. Company Dancers are required to pay a $5 fee to create a company page for the program book. This needs to be paid when you check in on Picture Day. Buddy Shots -Friends may be photographed together with signed parent’s permission with the understanding that all photos of this type must be purchased. Sibling/cousin pictures are welcomed. Program Ads are due to the studio by Sunday June 5th.If you plan on using business cards or photos other than the ones from Picture Day, they must be turned in by June 5th. All payment, text and business information must be turned in by Sunday June 5th.

If you have any questions or need assistance creating your ad, please ask at the desk. Extra Rehearsals may be called by any teacher on Monday June 6th or Wednesday June 8th. Those specific students will be notified of time and place, if necessary. These will be held at the studio Technical Rehearsal is Tuesday June 7th at Copper Canyon High School. Students are to be dress in their class attire. Please pay close attention to this schedule. Arrive at least 15 min. early to warm up and be ready for rehearsal on stage. For some of our dancers this is the first time they will be on a big stage. It is important to give them this opportunity and for our teachers to explain spacing to them. Please be on time. We will work hard to stay on schedule. Parents should wait for their students backstage or in the audience. Dress Rehearsal is Thursday June 9th at Copper Canyon High School. Students are to come dressed and ready to go in their first costume. This schedule will be passed out May 2nd. Recital T-Shirts will for sale. Keep your eye out for order information. They will be available for pick-up at Tech Rehearsal or Dress Rehearsal. DVD orders will also be available as in the past from Digital One Video. Room Moms Each class will need at only two room moms who will need to stay back stage during the entire recital. The Room Mom will be there to make sure each dancer in the class is ready when it is time to line up. If you are running late you should call the room mom to let them know. They can provide non-messy activities to keep the young ones occupied while they wait their turn. They will also keep a sign in and out sheet so that they know exactly who they have in their care.Parents need to make sure to take the time to sign their children in before leaving them and sign them out before taking them from dress rehearsal and both recitals. All students must participate in the finale. Please let your friends and family who come to see your dancer know about these important rules of the theater. No food or drink allowed in the auditorium. Cell phones need to be turned off. No flash photography. No videotaping or cell phone taping of any part of the show. Doors open at 5:30pm. Have your entire party come at the same time to be seated. There will be no saving of seats. Someone may hold one other person’s seat if they must go to the restroom. You may only exit or enter between dances. There will be security. If you need any kind of assistance, please seek out a staff member or the security. If you leave the auditorium for any reason, you may be detained on coming back in until an appropriate time between numbers.
