Dance Class Etiquette
Students should arrive 5 minutes before class and be dressed in proper dance attire.  Waiting parents and siblings should respect the classes in progress and keep the noise low. No street shoes are permitted on the dance floors. To ensure safety of the dancers, please refrain from wearing jewelry. No gum, candy, or food is permitted in the dance rooms. Please do not bring anything of value to the studio and leave it unattended.(ex. I-pod, phone, money, etc.) The Dance Gallerie is not responsible for lost/stolen items.
Please clean up and dispose of trash to maintain a clean atmosphere.
S
tudents must be picked up in a timely manner, we can not be responsible for your child when class is finished.  Students are not permitted to wait outside of the studio.
Absences/Make-Ups
There are no credits for missed/or dropped dance classes, but make up times will be available if you ask the desk/instructor.  Regular dance attendance is strongly advised to ensure proper development of dance technique.  During any show/recital attendance is essential.  If absenteeism becomes a problem, the instructor/director may deem it necessary to drop a student from an entire dance or part of a dance. There will be no refund for costuming that has been ordered.
Drop/Add Classes
If you find it necessary to change or drop a class, please notify front desk in writing so that we can open that class time for another student they may want to use this timeslot. We have a form for these situations. Otherwise you will continue to be charged for that class until we receive proper paperwork for our records.  Please notify the office 14 days before the next payment is expected to alleviate any paperwork issues.
Dress Codes
Please wear appropriate attire as listed on the dress code page.
Recreational Classes
These classes are encouraged for any & all students to participate.  Please see instructor to see if you fit well into the class or if another may fit your needs better. If you have questions please see the director.
